This provides definition of the features and menu items in the Operations section of the Orcoda platform.
The Operations page menu and features are located on the tope right hand side of the page.
Layout Options
This feature allows you to change the layout of the screen to suit your preferred visualisation. Some people find it beneficial to have multiple web browser tabs open to make use of the different layout configurations. Please remember to refresh the tabs to ensure the data is kept up to date.
Settings
Clicking on the settings cogwheel opens the Settings sidebar, which has the following options:
Set depot filter - helps to filter the orders/jobs in Inbox and Unassigned Panels on both Planning and Runsheet screens.
Reset all preferences - helps to reset all user preferences.
Change Group - allows you to change the group.
Refresh Page
This allows you to update the information on the page as it remains static. This is important if you are using multiple tabs or there are multiple users from your organisation on the platform simultaneously.
Violations
This requires you to drag to an empty panel to use. Click the to close. You can view any violations that are flagged against orders and/or runs by dragging the Violations button into the empty panel.
Violation types include:
- Oversized - based on the run's volume capacity.
- Overweight - based on the run's weight capacity.
- Overtime - based on the run's total working time.
- Outside of time window - based on the order's delivery time window range.
- No break - based on the run's fatigue management setup.
Note: Violations are warnings only. You can still process the orders as required.
Map
This requires you to drag to an empty panel to use. Click the to close. You can view the routes of each run, or all runs by dragging the Map button into the empty panel and clicking the map icon next to each run or to the runsheet date.
Gantt Chart
This requires you to drag to an empty panel to use. Click the to close. You can view the deliveries and service times on each order performed by the run.
Note: A stop is represented in a square/rectangular shape. A break is represented in a cylinder or oblong shape.
Search
This requires you to drag to an empty panel to use. Click the to close. You can perform a basic search, or an advanced search by clicking the button.
A to B Route Calculator
This requires you to drag to an empty panel to use. Click the to close. The A to B Route allows you to view multiple stops from a depot or specific location address. AFter entering the desired stops, click Route button (top-right) to calcuate the time and distance of the journey.
You can also add the stops by simply dragging the orders from either the Inbox, Unassigned or Run panel into the Stops section of the A to B route calculator. Both the associated pickup and delivery locations of the dragged orders will be added.
The Options tab can be used to optismise the entered stops, then click the Route (top-right) button to recalculate.
