Drivers

This article will detail the process around adding new drivers to the platform.

You can add new drivers to your account in two ways: either by manually filling out the provided form or by using a bulk CSV upload for multiple entries. Both methods are explained in detail below.

 

Adding a Driver Manually

 

1. Access the Drivers page underneath Settings in the menu sidebar.

 

2. Select "Add Driver" from the Driver page


3. Fill out the required fields in Add Driver form

It is important to ensure that the driver's login information is unique. Organizations often use the driver's mobile number as the login identifier.

Please note that the drivers pin number is not required in this form, this will be set up in the scheduling platform (Transport 360) under Admin > Drivers.

4. Select "Create Worker" to save the new Driver to the account.

 

Please note that newly created drivers will only be synced across to the scheduling platform (Transport 360) after a future day of bookings have been locked.

 

Adding Drivers in Bulk via CSV import

 

1. From the Drivers page, select Import from CSV.

 

 

2. Copy the column headers provided on the Import From CSV page into a new spreadsheet.

Please note that the columns in the spreadsheet must be formatted in the same order provided in the Import From CSV page shown below.

 

3. Fill out the template with all necessary columns:

Please note that only the following data points are required for a successful upload.

  • Region Name
  • Given Name
  • Family Name
  • Login (must be unique)

 4. Save as a .CSV file

 5. Upload the completed CSV file by selecting Choose File and then Import Drivers

 6. Any upload errors can be viewed in a CSV file by selecting the Download Errors button
